For me, reading cards is a truly spiritual practice. Before each reading I cleanse and then charge my cards with an invocation prayer that calls upon the help of my guardian angels, spirit guides, the Arch Angels (especially Arch Angel Michael- whom I ask to protect and shield the reading and myself from any negative influences), my higher heart-self, and of course God/The Divine/Creator/Source. I'll also ask for any messages that the spirit realm may have for us- but only from those spirits of God's Holy White Light. With these prayers we will always receive messages that are of the Highest and Greatest Good, providing truthful information that comes from a place of love.
